Evans Evans' mother was named Eleanor White Evans, named after her mother Eleanor White. Eleanor Evans married Clyde Greenstreet and they named their daughter Evans White Greenstreet.

Then they divorced, and Eleanor went back to using Evans as her surname. Her daughter thus became Evans White Evans, or Evans Evans in common usage.

Which answers the question of why Evans Evans couldn't go by her middle name...it wasn’t Anne or Mary, but White. 96.237.184.133 (talk) 00:35, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
