ancestry
ref: this edit
Reverted:
- 1. Tera Patrick is his wife, and confirms is Jewish ancestry. Published source, his wife's statement - "Evan is a nice Jewish boy from Brooklyn". I think she'd know. Xcitement is an online magazine covering the adult entertainment industry.
- 2. Removing religion note - no evidence to support he's actively religious.

- Xcitement.com is an on-line porn magazine. It is not a source for encyclopedic content of any kind. NoCal100 (talk) 22:05, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Covers the adult entertainment industry in general. For information relevant to the areas it covers, I see no reason why it isn't reliable. Aside from your puritanical beliefs, what's your real complaint? GrizzledOldMan (talk) 22:07, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- I have no puritanical beliefs. I have encyclopedic ones, which say that on-line porn is not a good source for biographical material. Aside from that, Seinfeld's ethnicity, whatever it is, is not germane to this article. So far, you have been reverted by 3 editors, it's time to stop your edit war over this. - It's part of his bio - it's pertinent. Sourced from an interview reprinted on his own band's web site - you're going to whinge about it not being reliable now? 3 editors reverting? Goes to show what they know. GrizzledOldMan (talk) 22:40, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- On-line porn magazines are not reliable sources for biographies of living people. Don't edit-war on BLPs using unreliable sources again. Jayjg (talk) 17:38, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

why is Jaz Hoyt listed as a stage name--it was a character he played on Oz, not a name HE ever used.
Why is there no mention of his current pornstar girlfriend Lupe Fuentes? Her being the current girlfriend of Evan is mentioned on her Wiki page. http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Lupe_Fuentes
- The page mentions his engagement to Lupe now. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:14, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Jerry Seinfled
should be some clarification whether or not he is related to jerry seinfeld —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.175.90.208 (talk) 19:54, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- Why? that's just silly. unless it was known outright, that he is, there's no reason at all to say anything about it. are we going to go through and fine every notable person with the last name seinfeld and note whether they're related to Jerry Seinfeld or not then? JohnBWatt (talk) 02:03, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with JohnBWatt. UltraEdit (talk) 09:17, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- I agree as well. As it turns out, Evan is related to a friend of mine from high school, for whom I've been doing genealogy research. Family legend is that Evan and Jerry are related. I've done some fairly decent research into Jerry Seinfeld's family history as well, and in the last 3 generations there's no way Jerry and Evan can be related. There are possibilities once you go back 4 or more generations, and I'll continue my research to see if the connections are there, but it's looking doubtful. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:14, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
