Article Does Provide Sufficient Context
[edit]This comment is in response to the addition of a "insufficient context" tag. When I first read this article, I had no prior knowledge of the EDR, nor for that matter any of plans for the Columbus lab. But I was familiar with the ISPRs in the U.S. Destiny lab. That familiarity allowed me to read the EDR article without undo difficulty. For readers who don't know this context, the EDR article links to the articles on ISPRs, the Columbus lab, and the ISS. That seems like sufficient context to me, and I suggest removal of the tag. Sdsds 20:52, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Notability & redlinks
[edit]On January 31,2016 @SkywalkerPL added a LIST template with this edit [[1]] Suggesting that the redlinked items may not meet Wikipedia's general notability guideline. --- In response the guideline at WP:NOTABILITY says "The notability guideline does not determine the content of articles, but only whether the topic should have its own article." As well the guideline at WP:REDLINK says "create a red link to indicate that a page will be created soon or that an article should be created for the topic because the subject is notable and verifiable." To summarize the problems with this edit - the list template is inappropriate, content need not be notable, the redlinking is backwards to the guideline. I propose that I remove both the template and the redlinks, anyone opposed? Dougmcdonell (talk) 08:10, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
- Agree I think it'd be a good idea to remove both. For what it's worth: You have my full support. SkywalkerPL (talk) 18:12, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
- Done Thanks for the consensus SkywalkerPL ! Dougmcdonell (talk) 23:00, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
