regarding that the subject is a small country's banned music group 10 years before the internet was created, a few thousand english pages and a few hundred videos (with tens of thousands of views each) pretty much justifies its presence in an international encyclopedia.Anapazapa (talk) 15:54, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

plus, all the members were also members of other notable groups of a scene that is still not covered in the english wikipedia even though the scene played an enormous role in th '80's samizdat life and the ~'90 political happenings. so that's is why all of the links are red, nobody yet tried to cover all these things that happened in rock music, poetry and on the streets between 1979 and the democratic change. i alone wrote the györgy petri article and it is still a stub waiting (dying) for contributions. i am not a historian, and my articles really really need attention from professionals. Apologies, the speedy deletion warning has been removed. I originally nominated the article for deletion because it appeared like many other un-notable band pages that are often created with red links and no English references. I also initially researched for info about the band before doing so and couldn't find any english references and the absence of a official band website and other sources in english led me to assume it was an unremarkable band. However I have since found that the band's releases are published officially and are therefore notable and them being a group from the 80's was probably the reason why little information could be found about them and indeed why an article on them hadn't existed. Tgr removed a piece of "unsourced info", then added another one which is to my knowledge, inaccurate (drummer was first replaced by gábor molnár, then lajos gyenge), not only unsourced. Does not even comply with western name order. I undid it, but do not want edit wars on unimportant details, so i will delete a few sensitive words about péter magyar's alleged alcohol problems. Thanks. The sources I used to look it up (e.g. [1]) suggested Gyenge directly following Magyar, but such mass-produced news articles are usually full of small errors, so you are probably right.

Claiming health problems without any source is problematic still, and it seemed to have little relevance in the article anyway, so I removed it again. --Tgr (talk) 00:28, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
