Lireo?
[edit]Did Lireo existed before Etheria (television series) like Sapiro, Adamya and Hathoria? Or is it "during" the series? So how could this article say that Etheria "wanted to control the neighboring kingdoms" like Lireo if Lireo doesn't existed yet? Remember that Cassiopeia is the first Queen of Lireo, and thus founder of it "during" her time. I hope that there is more "logical" term that could replace "Lireo" in that paragraph. 203.87.151.226 05:11, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Well, Lireo (the youngest kingdom, according to establishment) was founded in the Etherian age by Cassiopea, so it means that Lireo hasn't existed yet in that time before Cassio (cute nickname, her name's too long)thrust a sword in the east of the land and before her coronation, but there have been a rather small group of Diwatas existing at that time (living like gypsies).
By the way, in one of the episodes wherein Asval suggested war, there was a rather medium-sized 3D map of Encantadia there in front of the would-be First Council showing Sapiro (N), Adamya (S), Hathoria (W), & Etheria (center). Where Lireo should have been, there was a rather large plot of forest land there, suggesting my statement earlier above.
Maybe the editor of the article just made a mistake, but that's only my opinion. I suggest from "...wanted to control the neighboring kingdoms...", replace that statement as "...wanted to control the whole land of Encantadia...", thereby removing the confusion. ==Etherias==
[edit]I'm inclined to believe that the She-Ra fictional planet Etheria is more well known than this one, but there's some confused links coming into this article for both places currently. How big is this show in importance to an English audience? -- nae'blis (talk) 08:58, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I just mentioned it on the Sources of inspiration for Encantadia and Etheria article (without logging in though — but so far, most of the edits are mine anyway). — Uthanc 06:47, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
- To add to the confusion, there's also an Etheria in Warlords. Also, can anyone tell me how "Etheria" is pronounced? 84.70.192.140 13:47, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Kingdom of Etheria
[edit]I noticed that the kingdom of Etheria does not have an article separate to the show. This could help shorten the main article of Etheria (show) and focus on the nobility of Etheria. This could also give importance to the Etheria of She-Ra.The main article of Etheria could be called "Etheria (show)," the kingdom of Etheria could be called "Etheria (Encantadia)" and the Etheria of She-Ra could be Etheria (She-Ra). Don't you think??? And maybe we could put a disambiguation page as well. ^_^ deecee 15:38, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Infobox
[edit]The starring list should be shortened. It defeats the purpose of infobox providing the summary. A list of everyone would not be a summary. Perhaps the present list would go to List of actors in Encantadia and Etheria. Also, Wikipedia is not the IMDb.
The Uniqueness and Importance of Each Sang'gre
[edit]I've removed this entire section from the Etheria article because it fits poorly there. I'm placing it here (temporarily) to discuss its disposition. Mercurio 16:53, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
Pirena - Keeper of the Gemstone of Fire. Elemental Goddess of Fire. Without Pirena, Encantadia would loose it's light and heat. Pirena is the eldest one of the four, she is also the most intelligent among her sisters, hardworking, and cunning.
Amihan - Keeper of the gemstone of wind. Elemental Goddess of Wind. Without Amihan, Encantadia would loose its oxygen for breathing and the air would be polluted because of the loss of the wind's protector, balancer and keeper. Amihan is the strongest and most skillful in powers and swordfighting among her sisters because she was trained by her father , Raquim one of the strongest warriors in Encantadia and made Amihan the strongest warrior of Lireo and maybe of Encantadia. She is also loving, trustworthy, honest and the wisest among her sisters.
Alena - Keeper of the gemstone of water. Elemental goddess of water. Without Alena, Encantadia would loose its water (not necessarily loose but its water will become polluted) and their source of cleanliness would be gone, and they wouldn't have water to drink. She is also the kindest among her sisters but scary when she's mad, she's honest, loving (specially to her sisters, husband, son, mother, nieces and other relatives). She also has the most distinctive, beautiful and sometimes most agressive powers in the whole of Encantadia (e.g. Water control, Killing and soothing and hypnotizing and spell creating voice, weather control)
Danaya - Keeper of the gemstone of Earth. Elemental Goddess of Earth. Without Danaya, Encantadia's vegetation would die without the spirit of Earth. Danaya is the most rebellious and fearless among her sisters. She knows the laws dedicatedly and her heart is always on the right side.
All sang'gres are the strongest warriors in Encantadia. Their unity was never defeated even by a large number of Hathors, Etherians (even if their enemies are with their leaders) and even King Ybrahim couldn't defeat them (but actually even if King Ybrahim and Amihan are the strongest warriors in Encantadia, Each individual sang'gre could defeat Ybrahim with ease as long as they have confidence, concentration and sometimes anger.
They all know how to love and they are always thinking of their people, the Diwatas.
The Four Heras
[edit]I've renamed the sections "Royal Family of Hera xxxx" to just plain "Hera xxxx".
There is a distinction between the words royal/royalty and noble/nobility. Generally speaking, noble/nobility refers to those of high or aristocratic birth or lineage. (The nobility includes dukes, earls and barons in the British peerage system, for example.) Royal/royalty, in contrast, is a higher status referring exclusively to kings (queens) and their closest relatives. Nobles become royalty by ascending to the throne/crown (and possibly by marrying a king/queen).
The Enchanta words Hera and Heran refer to the nobility rather than royalty, and Andal, Sensa, Volo and Aega are actually noble houses/families. This is known from:
- Express explanations in-story - Hera/Heran is translated into Tagalog as dugong-bughaw (literally blue-blood, a synonym for 'noble');
- Inference - Only Queen Avria's house, Hera Andal, possesses the crown, yet all 4 houses are called Hera. It was also explained in an Etheria episode that if Avria had no heir to succeed her, then one of the heads of the other 3 Heras would ascend to the crown.
- Behind-the-scenes statements by production - For example, on the Etheria primer that aired December 11, 2005, it was stated (I believe by Mark Reyes, the director) that Heras refers to nobles.

Enuo
[edit]I was just wondering who played this role. Hope it could be put up on the Cast.
References
[edit]This article sites no references, though it does have some external links which may provide references. IMDB is useful for showing something does exist, but is an unreliable source at WP. there are many secondary articles associated with this tv show, many of which are up for deletion, many of which also have no references. While i do think the 2 shows deserve 2 WP articles, as having aired in a significant tv market, i really hope more evidence can be presented as to the level of their notability, otherwise many of the secondary articles may be deleted. the listing of minor characters here is probably fancruft, though thats a disparaging term, but we have to show why the so and so character from episode x is notable, ie, talked about outside the show in some manner.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 02:55, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
