Was there a consenus concerning whether or not this article should stay? Because Ethan really doesn't have enough information about him to merit his own article. Nihl 21:49, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- looks like enough to me...Oreo man 17:33, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- Not really... there are only three paragraphs (actual two and a sentence), which isn't very much at all. Thinking about it, there's absolutely no reason why Ethan should have his own article, especially considering all the info from this page was taken directly from the Character page. There's absolutely no advantage to giving him his own article as opposed to putting his info on both the Character page AND the "Others" page. Plus,
- He's really not all that important on the show to give him his own article... he's not a main character, hasn't had a flashback, and has only been in five episodes, two of which were very brief, and there are plenty of other secondary characters more important than him, like Danielle, that don't have their own articles
- He's dead. Which means it's highly unlikely that we'll learn any more about him or, for that matter, see any more of him, so those two and 1/2 parapraghs are going to stay that way, which means the article's never going to expand.
- Overall, Ethan's article is just a waste. I'm going to bring it up on the discussion page and from there it will most likely be put up for deletion.Nihl 03:28, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- The vote was a bit of a travesty, frankly, with few people voting, and some people that never contribute here anyway. Time to rectify this with another vote. -- PKtm 03:44, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Just put the Ethan article up to be merged with the "Island Inhibitants" section on the "Characters of Lost" article. If anyone has a major problem with it, bring it up here or on the "Characters of Lost" discussion page and make a decent arguement as to why it should be kept as it's own article, not just "I think it should stay". - Nihl 23:58, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
