I became interested in Esther Popel Shaw, but i am not an expert. It would be great if someone well informed about this topic would help my page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gallardo30 (talk • contribs) 18:29, December 9, 2014
I have moved this page from Esther Popel Shaw (her married name) to Esther Popel. She publisher her poetry mainly under her maiden name, but her prose under her married name, and she probably used her married name in her teaching career as well. However, as her notability has mostly to do with her affiliation with the Harlem Renaissance, it seemed best to put her entry under her maiden name. Scholars who know more about her life and place in history should feel free to change this decision.Zelda1700 (talk) 17:55, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
