Lack of information about her comedic style

[edit]

There's a lot of information concerning her race but very little about what her stand-up is actually like. Only two lines have any information at all:

"She says that she [deals with the failure of a joke] by poking fun at herself"

and

"Typically her material is controversial and racially tinged."

Caultn's changes

[edit]

@Caultn: Please discuss your changes here before adding them again. Please also read WP:BLP, WP:V, WP:Undue and WP:NPOV before responding. The content you want to add includes unsourced controversial claim about a living person, namely "Ku's career has garnered mixed to negative reception", but your source doesn't seem to verify this claim. The first part of the article talks about how one particular act of hers didn't go very well...but that says nothing about the reception of her entire career. Second, you follow up that unsupported claim by describing in detail a joke that Ku made at that one show and that particular audience's reaction to it...why? How does that support your claim about Ku's entire comedy career? Is Ku's entire career just this one joke? Do all of her sets just consist of this single joke? This fails WP:Undue and WP:NPOV. Surely you can see how ridiculous it would be if a fan of Ku's added "Ku's career has garnered positive reception" and supported that claim with an article that talks about how a particular audience responded well to one of Ku's jokes during one particular show, then went into great detail describing that one joke and how the audience responded positively to it. Simply put, if you want to add something about the reception to Ku's career, you need to support that with a reliable source that talks about the reception to Ku's career, not just the reception to one of her jokes/shows. A bad reception to one joke in one show isn't worth mentioning on a standup comedian's encyclopedic article, unless that incident got a lot of coverage in reliable secondary sources and/or is what the comedian is known for.
