The actual copy of Essays and Reviews on Internet Archive lists John W. Parker as publisher--not editor. See: [1] Mwidunn (talk) 21:58, 27 October 2018 (UTC)mwidunn[reply]

Darwin

[edit]

We seem to have further reading rather than references. Several points, particularly those related to Darwin, were taken from Desmond & Moore's Darwin, and there are some other details in Janet Browne's Charles Darwin: vol. 2 The Power of Place. Want these added as references, and want harvard referencing in a notes section to give page numbers? ... dave souza, talk 12:42, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. I was just trying to build up potential references by putting them in the 'Further reading' section for now. But, yes, please add - as Harvard ref - the references (page numbers) from Desmond & Moore, and Janet Brown. Thanks! Cheers! Wassupwestcoast (talk) 12:59, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article Titles and Authors?

[edit]

While I am not going to be MUCH help this month, I did see that a few of the resources available on Essays and Reviews breakout the various Articles, and mention which of the authors wrote each article; that information may be helpful for a scholarly analysis, though I'm not sure how much further anyone can go (in Wikipedia) with describing the articles beyond a simple table, as it would then potentially move into Original Research to summarize them. Bill Ward (talk) 20:37, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I doubt 'original research' will be a problem as there is a lot of printed commentary and scholary analysis ... even per essay. It might be more library research than internet though. Cheers! Wassupwestcoast (talk) 23:30, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The introduction to Shea and Whitla's edition has more information than we need, for an encyclopedia article; I'll try to add some of it next week. Mgriffin (talk) 03:59, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oxford Dictionary of Christianity

This has some details that I will pump in here before month's end. -- Secisek (talk) 02:12, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I'll get back to it again also. Cheers! Wassupwestcoast (talk) 02:14, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
