It would be great to have a photo of herself in the article... If anyone can find it, please upload it. Dommain 12:14, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Dommain[reply]

[www.esperanzaaguirre.net] is a WebSite with other information about Esperanza Aguirre. All the information is oficial, but some people try to hide/erase it. But we can't change the past, so the information is correct, and the link is correct. I think trying to change/remove the link is a form of censure that it should not be in Wikipedia.

First of all, welcome to Wikipedia, Xkill. Next time, remember to sign your comments in talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). In the Spanish keyboard layout, you can get the tilde with AltGr+4 (+Space sometimes). Now, about the link: first time you added it I just entered the page and then plainly went back and removed it, because to me it seemed a comi-critical site not really fit for inclusing in an encyclopaedic article, but then you added it again and User:Error labelled it "Critical site".
You seem not to agree with that, for reasons I can't guess (proximity of the Spanish elections maybe?). To me, it is clear that such a site does not just contain "other" information about Mrs. Aguirre, such as info on her early life, her studies, her private life, etc. - other biographic/encyclopaedic information. The site is clearly critical of her political life (and not with a good taste, I will add), and while it is not wrong to add such links to the article, you cannot make it the first external link and label it "site with other information" so that people looking for other bio/ency information click on it. That would be a blatant use of Wikipedia for political campaigning (anti-campaigning in this case). Since I feel (in the Force) this addition is partly motivated by the electoral campaign in Spain, I will revert your edit one more time, then I won't hesitate to call in MedCom or whatever needed. Nope, that's not true. --85.57.155.105 (talk) 21:19, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Saramago" confusion is an urban legend.

[edit]

Aguirre never confused Saramago and Sara Baras. There's no written document, video, nor audio to prove that she did. She has repeteadly denied having done so, and so has done Saramago himself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.152.252.68 (talk) 22:13, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Esperanza Aguirre

[edit]

This article is a mess!! Is Aguirre a liberal or a conservative; a leftist or a right-winger? The article is contradictory. What about "Pedro Schwartz" --does he even exist? Is this some kind of gag or vandalism? There are few if any sources or citations for allegations made. Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 00:02, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
