POV

Is there for too colorful laguage in the later half of the section, which paints very bad picture of the subject ~~Xil (talk) 22:43, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Even early in the article: "shabby court" indeed. The EB1911 POV hasn't been properly filtered out. I will see what I can do. I also have a second source which should help moving the article toward objectivity. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 11:03, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Having added the second source (1905 NIE), I think it too paints about as bad a picture, but it is more specific on details and doesn't just rely on colorful adjectives. And it does concede he was a good administrator. So I hope with this, and my previous edit to further resolve the 1911 Britannica POV problem, the article can be called somewhat more objective.
