[edit]Below is copied from the editorial of the Cornishman newspaper, 7 September 1882 (page 4). Does anyone know anything about this attempted invasion? Jowaninpensans (talk) 20:35, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
″James Eryesy, sheriff of Cornwall in 1513, and the gallant leader of the train-bands of Kirrier in their successful resistance of the attempt of the French – who landed at Marazion – to invade the county, interred at Grade in 1522.″
