Can we salt this as a repeated recreation? ttonyb (talk) 23:39, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]
The issue is you have literally copied and pasted information from copyrighted webpages.--v/r - TP 23:48, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There really is no basis for "speedy deletion" anymore. All the text is original, the files in question were removed (even though they were not copyright material) and the person the article is about is "notable", as being part of an ongoing museum exhibition. Re-issuing the notice is simply cyber-bullying at this point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aottmw98 (talkcontribs) 00:51, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
A large portion of the text was copyrighted. I removed the copyrighted material. There is no cyber-bulleying going on here, but you are welcome to take the issue to any of the admin noticeboards if you are concerned by my editing.--v/r - TP 01:17, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This page should not be speedy deleted because the text which was flagged as "copyright material" originates from the artist's website. This text was then copy pasted by blogs and other websites to explain the work and introduce the artist to their readers. --76.168.17.15 (talk) 00:01, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That doesnt change the copyrighted status. The text was not released under a license that is compatible with Wikipedia's content license.--v/r - TP 00:04, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Archive

[edit]

I archived all of the speedy deletion contested rationale per WP:TPOC "Refactoring for relevance: Archiving material not relevant to improving the article". Since speedy deletion is no longer an issue, all of the headings ect only serve to muddy up the talk page that should be used for article improvement. Anyone who disagrees is welcome to revert and delete the archive.--v/r - TP 17:55, 28 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
