I altered the category tags to list him alphabetically under Ant-Man, rather than O'Grady. This is more consistent with similar entries which have both a codename and alter ego, as opposed to being listed by alter ego alone. Rajah1 20:41, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
And....someone reverted it. I don't understand. Ant-Man (Scott Lang) is not listed under "L" in categories so why is Ant-Man (Eric O'Grady) under "O"? Anyone know the official policy on article names like this? Rajah1 10:34, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Help
[edit]This is way off. Ant-man is on it's fourth monthly issue as of 1-4-07. He probably should have debuted in Choosing Sides but all civil war issues are delayed for months at a time. Ant-Man is not a Civil War comic so it wasn't delayed and started back in October. I tried to edit this but I'm no writer. Please someone fix this for me. Where do the people that originally wrote this article get their information?12.14.247.132 01:59, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
here, at least that is where i got the info that started this article [1]Phoenix741 19:19, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
First appearance
[edit]I've changed the section on O'Grady's first appearance. It was meant to be within the main Civil War mini, but never happened, probably because there wasn't space. The Choosing Sides one-shot, which the article was saying should have been his first appearance, was only created after the series started, as a result of the delays to Civil War. 163.156.240.17 14:58, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Slaying Mantis?
[edit]Since Eric is going by the moniker Slaying Mantis should we retitle the article?
- If they change the book title, then yea that would make sense.Phoenix741 21:56, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- NO, Slaying Mantis in a fake superhero name he made up in The Irredeemable Ant-Man #8 so S.H.I.E.L.D would found him.--Brown Shoes22 19:56, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Minor error
[edit]Looking at the section titled "Thunderbolts," I noticed the mention of when he released Bucky/Captain America stated it happened in Captain America Reborn, issue 4. I believe it was actually issue 3 in which this happened. Not sure how to edit it, however, so just putting it out there for one a bit more "wiki" savvy than I. Splitting Black Ant from Eric O'Grady
[edit]As you know, Black Ant is the Life Model Decoy of Eric O'Grady who was created by Father following the death of Eric O'Grady. As they are two separate characters, I was wondering if we can split Black Ant from this page and put all his information into his own page. Any objections? --Rtkat3 (talk) 19:30, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- No, character does not appear to meet notability guidelines. Namenamenamenamename (talk) 23:27, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
