This article really seems to be a subset of the Dickin Medal article (which is really more of a list). Neither of the articles is very long, and thus they could be combined without the result being over-long. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 17:59, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest a speedy close to this (the article is currently on the main page). If the list is valid as a list article, then it can stay that way. This article is long enough to stand on its own. Recipients of the Dickin Medal are often notable in their own right (see the heroic George (dog)), so condensing three Dickin Medal recipients into one single article, as here, is already quite condensed enough. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 18:44, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Demiurge. Chrisrus (talk) 19:14, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I closed this and removed the tag per WP:SNOW. Montanabw(talk) 22:45, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sergeant Reckless

[edit]

Sergeant Reckless needs to be added. There are plenty of potential references, e.g.:

  • "Memorial dedication for Marine Pack Horse, Staff Sgt. Reckless". The Official United States Marine Corps Public Website.

I had some trouble finding independent sources, but I see she was given it in 2016. Will update. Montanabw(talk) 05:24, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
