[edit]This is a question/speculation rather than a Page Edit.
It is possible that this Ephraim Dean was also the owner of Ephraim Dean and Company of Boston, Mass c. 1763-64. In the course of research about sailing trading vessels plying between Halifax and Boston during that period, I observed this name/company in the Royal Navy Port of Halifax records (vessels entering and cleared outwards). Perhaps the author of the original post about this Dean has additional information? Thanks for the opportunity to comment.
