Disagree. Environmental politics is a subfield within political science, while political ecology is an interdisciplinary approach looking at politicized interrelations between states (governments) and local biophysical environments. After decades of scholarship, both are well established in their own right. While it would be appropriate to cross-reference the two entries, merging them would be a disservice to those seeking to understand the respective areas of inquiry. I disagree with the proposed merger.DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 09:55, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Possible improvements to the page -adding more about laws associated with the environment made by the government -talk about protocols made and important conferences about how to better deal with saving the environment from a political prospective -political parties and their stances on how to help the environment Hmmsefc95 (talk) 22:56, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, regarding the Emerging Nations China and India are great examples with great paragraphs, however why were Brazil and Russia mentioned and then not followed up by an in-depth sub-paragraph?AnisaAbdullahi (talk) 21:16, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
