Change in Name

[edit]

Hello Wikipedia Admins

The official name of this town is Enugwu-ukwu and not Enugu-ukwu. So because of the non inclusion of special characters in names it should be Enugwu Ukwu. Please the correction should be made if you find it necessary but I think it is since the name is not correctly speeched. Thanks

Notable people from Enugu Ukwu

[edit]

I think people who have made impact in Enugu Ukwu should be put up here and also list of achievements Onyeka Nwune (talk) 09:23, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Onyeka Nwune - This is governed by WP:Settlement#Notable people.
Only people who already have their own article on the English Wikipedia can be included in lists of "Notable people".
If you think someone is notable enough to have their own article, then WP:Write the article first - Arjayay (talk) 11:57, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay no problem then. I’d get back at you. The deputy governor of anambra state is a notable man tho. Shouldn’t be be there? And also the masquerade festival done every year should be on wiki. Thanks Onyeka Nwune (talk) 12:24, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Onyeka Nwune - I have added back Nkem Okeke - removing him was my mistake, for which I apologise.
As for the masquerade festival, you need to find a reliable published source describing the festival. Only add information given in the article, not what you "know", but without copying the text, as that would be a copyright violation. You also need to cite the source of your information as a reference. Please see Help:Referencing for beginners for the "how-to" when adding.
Please only include facts, not your opinion, as you did in your edit to the article, when stating "the great town of Enugu ukwu". Thanks - Arjayay (talk) 13:20, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
