Appendicitis

[edit]

This statement may be getting confused with another 'fact' - approximately 30% of all appendicitis patients are found to be infested with worms, so possibly not the cause of the appendicitis, but something found at surgery Ianguy 01:56, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

30% is serious enough to demand a search for a causal relationship. Are there any such studies done recently? It something on should look out for... BroVic (talk) 23:43, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why have Notes and References when the notes just lead to the references?

[edit]

I suggest to re-arrange it so that citations lead directly to the references, rather than to the notes first and then to the references. As far as I know, notes are meant to be look footnotes, but not like normal citations. EvM-Susana (talk) 11:42, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Makes a lot of sense. BroVic (talk) 23:40, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Garlic

[edit]

Wow, I've heard before a mention of the efficacy of garlic in the management of helminthic infections. This is really worth looking into, especially garlic is food based and without (serious!) side effects. BroVic (talk) 23:40, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
