Hello! This article subject is a very interesting one, and while I may not be knowledgeable on the topic, I think you did a great job at developing it and covering relevant and important information. Moving forward, I would suggest including a formal definition of "enslaved women's resistance efforts" because some people may have never heard of that phrase prior to this article, and having that definition can give people a better sense on what exactly that phrase entails. I recommend finding more sources to backup your statements to give your article more credibility, including links to/from your article, and adding pictures to improve the readability. So far, I think this article is coming along pretty well! AMRara (talk) 06:25, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have just cut away about 2/3 of the article because the material was frankly off-topic. The first 50% of this article consisted of an overview of some aspects of slavery that you will find are already very well covered (start at Sexual slavery and Female slavery in the United States for more links than you may care for :), and it ended with a broad assessment of historical effects. All of that is not only already covered, but outside the article topic. It is the nature of an interlinked encyclopedia like Wikipedia that background material does not have to be repeated. If you wish to direct the reader's attention to necessary background information, wikilinks should be used; each article should only contain text that is specific to the article topic, as stated by its title. - I do believe that the core material (methods of slave rebellion by acting against the "reproduction" expectations of the slavers) is not covered anywhere else, so thanks for setting that up in good style and with good references. But keep it focused! Cheers --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 01:01, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
