Title[edit]

I'm going to express doubt that these wars are ever called "English Wars" in English. Wouldn't Anglo-Danish Wars or something like that be better? john k (talk) 21:17, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We just consider it to be part of the Napoleonic Wars, I've never seen the phrase "English wars" used to describe it in English. A name-change is needed. FOARP (talk) 16:47, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This is obviously some direct translation from whatever historical book it comes from and is not an appropriate title for the English article. 2A00:23C6:BF8E:7801:F4B9:3CE4:E0F1:48D7 (talk) 11:33, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Aftermath[edit]

The danish 'ceding' of Hamburg appears inconsistent with https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geschichte_Hamburgs where there is no mention of Danes in Hamburg. It only later mentions the French revolution. Denmark did not extend south of Schleswig-Holstein.(where Hamburg is) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.38.141.121 (talk) 15:55, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Intro[edit]

It seems like the intro understates the role of England in the conflict. Is this correct?108.207.39.63 (talk) 09:16, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It could hardly do otherwise, since England did not exist as an independent country at the time FOARP (talk) 16:46, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

deleted[edit]

this whole article should be deleted

English speaking historians do not recognise this war as separate from the Napoleonic wars as a whole, this is obviously Scandinavian historical perspective as we can see with the title of this page which would unlikely be used in an British history book

and this is the English Wikipedia

English wars would not be a term used by British historians for this conflict 2A01:799:B5F:F400:7453:5CC2:DF3D:D770 (talk) 01:58, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
