The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Endo–exo isomerism/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Currently the article states "The prefix endo is reserved for the isomer with the substituent located closest, or "anti," to the longest bridge." I believe "anti" should be swapped fro "syn." Speaking of anti/syn in this way (as in the article) could be misleading, as syn/anti stereochemistry is also used for bicyclic systems where "syn" substituents would be oriented towards the lowest numbered ring.
