[edit]The web page is very poorly written. The product itself is too expensive. I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Has anyone tried Lightning Switch? Much cheaper and better alternative. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.133.150.152 (talk • contribs) 17:16, 8 March 2007
The above are just someone's opinion. EnOcean does more than just light switching in any case (i.e. temperature sensing, EIB gateways etc.), and has been adopted as the core radio technology in products from many companies (over 50 at the time of writing) including PEHA, WAGO, Wieland, Osram, Beckhoff - some key home automation, M&E and environmental control companies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Phooto (talk • contribs) 08:44, 11 April 2007
I agree with the above statement from a previous user, EnOcean does far more than just switching, it allows for integration for a variety of controls, inputs, sensors. It seems to me that the sentence regarding "Lighting Switch" is shameless slander and false advertisement from the company itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.130.47.170 (talk • contribs) 11:15, 19 July 2013
move proposal
[edit]This was put up for deletion, but survived after quite a few copy-edits. However, the same (poorly written) article was entered twice:
- On 7 August by User:217.91.102.165 [1] as EnOcean
- On 24 August by User:84.180.58.222 [2] as Enocean
The first one was not put up for deletion, the second one was but survived, and is now a proper article. However, the correct name of the company is EnOcean GmbH, i.e. it should be under EnOcean, and Enocean should redirect to it. - DocendoDiscimus 09:58, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Enoceanlogo.jpg
[edit]Image:Enoceanlogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Speedy deletion nomination of EnOcean
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on EnOcean, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the page that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. RatnimSnave (talk) 14:07, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Contested deletion
[edit]While it may very well deserve to be deleted, this page survived its most recent AfD in 2005; G11 is not an accepted criteria for speedy deletion of pages that have survived their most recent deletion discussions: AfD is the way. -- HenryMP02 (talk) 17:14, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
