Notability

[edit]

@Somebodyidkfkdt, answering here rather than at my talk. Which three sources are the best for supporting WP:notability? valereee (talk) 12:08, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Besides the CNBC article, there is Cooking with wine, which is about his books, Stroobant works his Black magic, which is about him hosting a cooking show which probably isn't itself notable, and probably any of the last three in the article. Somebodyidkfkdt (talk) 12:15, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately I can't get to any of those but the CNBC, so I can't evaluate them. valereee (talk) 12:40, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In other discussions, I've seen other editors claim that they can send these articles through email. How do I do that? Somebodyidkfkdt (talk) 12:46, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, now that I think about it, I would rather not do that. Is there any other way I can send the articles to you? Somebodyidkfkdt (talk) 12:48, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe you can find them online somewhere? I tried with the Cooking with wine article, it didn't come up for me, but maybe if you're searching sources in Singapore they'll come up for you. How did you originally find them? valereee (talk) 12:56, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I accessed them through Newslink. You can see a preview here, along with some other articles that are not included in the article. Somebodyidkfkdt (talk) 13:03, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I find that most Straits Times articles from before 2017 and all Business Times articles from before 2016 are no longer available online unless accessed through Newslink. Due to a licensing agreement, they cannot be accessed through NewspaperSG. Somebodyidkfkdt (talk) 13:05, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I found a copy of the 2014 news article here. Somebodyidkfkdt (talk) 13:04, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tempted to accept @Valereee, you might be be able to get them using the Wikipedia Library Justiyaya 05:25, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Source assessment table

[edit]

Which three sources (that I can see) support notability. Ideally we don't use any source twice. valereee (talk) 15:47, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think the article I mentioned above that I managed to find on AsiaOne works. Somebodyidkfkdt (talk) 00:06, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The articles Stroobant works his Black magic and Cooking with wine also help, along with the Pursuit of liberty on bikes article which I just found, which is about his passion for motorcycles, but I don't think those are online. Somebodyidkfkdt (talk) 13:28, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Could you also please reevaluate Draft:Shoukouwa? I've added a few more sources that I think establish its notability as a restaurant. Somebodyidkfkdt (talk) 12:36, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
