The source for her being American-born, and her father's banking career, also claims that he was a rugby international, although I can find no evidence that he ever represented any national side (but it is claimed on the site of his physiotherapy clinic), so does that cast the whole reliability of that into doubt (Standard should usually be a reliable source, but is not in that regard).
Same article claims that he played rugby professionally, which would place his career after 1995: he obviously was not playing professional rugby for a London team while in the US, and he appears to have been working in the City at that time. So when was his rugby career, and what level and status did he reach in the sport? All a bit of an unclear mess at the moment.
