Eminem has sold 100 million albums, and sold 120 million singles, Total records in Worldwide 220 million.[1] EminemJimmy (talk) 13:49, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

Wrong info

Hey, the info for the worldwide sales of Encore, Eminem Show and Marshall Mathers LP are incorrect, can i please get permission to edit? Jamol112 (talk) 20:01, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Hello

Hey, The Eminem show and The Marshall Mathers LP worldwide sales are total wrong, and can I correct it? 216.110.116.45 (talk) 19:49, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Not done: Same reason as below. Et3rnal 21:11, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Found a source

http://www.universalmusic.com/corporate/detail/118 That's for the eminem show And the marshall mathers lp sold over 27 million worldwide, its been said on many broadcasts

Those figures that are there are pretty ridiculous, they sold way over 19 million..so please change that, they were figures from since 2005, the figures that were there before were correct.

Can I please be allowed to edit, I can fix and still provide sources 69.73.242.235 (talk) 14:01, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

Not done: The source you provided only states the debut figures of The Eminem Show, so the sales numbers will remain. Et3rnal 15:17, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

forever should be moved to singles

forever shouldn't be featured singles, it should be regular singles since it was included on refill. Osh33m (talk) 18:08, 8 January 2014 (UTC)

That means nothing, Drake was the only one billed as a lead artist on the song and it was not a single for refill it was just included on there. STATic message me! 18:45, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
since it was included, that means you do not have to purchase a the more than a game album to obtain the song; you can purchase an eminem one and get the song. and i'm pretty sure they were released around the same time. Osh33m (talk) 06:37, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

Marshall Mathers LP has sold over 27 Million records wolrdwide , The Eminem Show over 25 Million, The Slim Shady LP over 11 Million, Relapse over 7,5 Million and Marshall Mathers LP 2 over 4 Million. Apparently http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/the-juice/5944791/eminem-marks-sales-hot-100-milestones disagrees with your findings, so you'll need to obtain a consensus saying to use your source instead of the existing one. — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 17:32, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
Dear IP user i know that the album sales worldwide are more than mentioned in the list. But a reliable source is needed to make any change in the wikipedia. We cannot make any change on our assumption even if that is right. The sales are updated to the latest available reliable source. Split?

This article is very long. Since Eminem has released many albums, singles, and music videos, I think it might be appropriate to split this article into Eminem albums discography, Eminem singles discography, and possibly Eminem videography, with this article becoming a disambiguation page. He has the material to justify the split, and with the lead currently consisting of five paragraphs - which is already overkill without considering the fact that all of them are long - I think it's the best option. –Chase (talk / contribs) 02:01, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

I agree, and am going to work on a videography page later on. Snuggums (talk / edits) 23:16, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

Personally, I think this is a good idea. Not only is there enough material to warrant the split but the size is also making the single page almost impossible to maintain, make style updates to and keep at featured status, especially due to the large amount of attention it receives from users making all sorts of conflicting edits. I Am RufusConversation is a beautiful thing. 08:47, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

Yes, it is a good idea. The page is really big. We can work nad make all the three pages.Abhinav0908 (talk) 19:01, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

Not bad, Sufur222. My only qualm is the lead being too short. Snuggums (talk / edits) 20:43, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
Oh, I completely agree – it's not finished yet. Writing leads for discographies is tedious but I'll do it very soon. I Am RufusConversation is a beautiful thing. 20:54, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
In case anyone still cares about this,.. I would also agree to the split being a good idea, seeing the Eminem discography page is long as hell. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rayukk (talkcontribs) 20:33, 2 December 2014 (UTC)

Chasewc91, Just kinda kickstarting this again, as the discography keeps on growing I wonder why these pages still haven't split, considering two compilation albums have been added, two lead singles, three featured singles, and a few guest appearances have since been added. Strongly support the three-way-split. But...what happens with the featured list? Which gets it if any? Azealia911 talk 10:00, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Straight from the lab

@Karst:It's listed on Amazon. The purpose of a discog is for someone to find all of an artist's music. The least we can do is to include it under an "unofficial" section. Since it has its own Wikipedia page, it should not be excluded from the discog page.Terrorist96 (talk) 20:27, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for taking the discussion here. We generally do not list an unofficial section as that would mean a tacit acceptance of bootlegging. It is different when the mixtape has charted or there are multiple sources. The problem with the sources on the page of the album is that Sputnik is user generated and and the other two are taken from the fansite. What we can do is put in one sentence here based upon the Allmusic link. The album page was previously deleted. Karst (talk) 20:45, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
I understand what you're saying. However, the purpose of an encyclopedia is to be a reference on information and knowledge. The bootleg exists. Excluding it doesn't make it go away. It exists and we should note that it exists since it's also mentioned in reliable sources (like Allmusic). We have articles on horrible things like child pornography, but just because the article exists doesn't mean we support it (see WP:NOTCENSORED)). This same issue arose in the episode list of Orange is the New Black when it was leaked online. Some argued that the episode list should be removed because it would tacitly support hacking and piracy, but that was rejected. The consensus was to retain the episode list, but to temporarily hide the summary of each episode until official release.
Please make mention of the mixtape/bootleg/whatever you wanna call it however you see fit so I avoid being potentially reverted.Terrorist96 (talk) 21:13, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

Eminem, here is a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eV42a1nrGxk This should be changed under the "As featured guest" in the Music Video section of the article.

If you think they are inflated, you have to provide sources before changing an information. We also may call User:Wikipedian Penguin, User:Sufur222 & User:Abhinav0908 to help to fix this. Sumo ch (talk) 10:38, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
I think we need to update all the sales as per RIAA certifications for US slaes) for Eminem as they recently updated his certifications. For Revival the latest figures from billboard can be used. Abhinav0908 (talk) 08:03, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
