I will be doing this. Best, Yash! 09:01, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
Lead
[edit]- Link Presbyterian missionary.
- Link Calcutta, India in the infobox.
- "Liverpool's Bold Street" -> "Bold Street, Liverpool" - also, link it.
- Avoid using words such as "now" and use "as of xxxx" instead.
Biography
[edit]- Is there a name for the theological college? Could it be Serampore College by any chance?
- "7" -> "seven".
- "Aigburth in Liverpool" -> "Aigburth, Liverpool"
- "It was at this point" - something more formal should suffice. "During this period" or something else you'd like. If the details about specific year are available, that'd be great.
- Use the convert template for currency.
- Not done The convert template doesn't work for currency, partially because conversion rates change daily and partially because unlike other conversions (metric to imperial), currency is country specific and Wikipedia is meant to be global. I don't think we should be converting the currency to any other country's currency as she was British. WormTT(talk)
- "lived comfortably" -> what was the reason for the family to not be comfortable before that? If there is not a proper explanation, better to remove that.
- "7" -> "seven".
- Since there isn't any mention of her collection of clothes in this section, the quote looks unnecessary here. Perhaps, it can be moved below. Also, "Mrs Tinne's Wardrobe: A Liverpool Lady's Clothes 1900–1940" should be in italics.
Tinne collection of clothing
[edit]- Shouldn't it be "The Tinne collection of clothing", as it is stated in the infobox? Either way, one of them needs to be changed for consistency.
- Instead of "currently", use "as of xxxx".
- "Mrs Tinne's Wardrobe: A Liverpool Lady's Clothes 1900–1940" - italics.
That should do it! Yash! 08:21, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your review - I think I've addressed everything except the currency template - I don't know how to do that - Worm will do this when he gets chance ツStacey (talk) 09:02, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- Or rather he won't, but he's explained why. Hopefully that's everything Yash!? Thanks Stacey for all your hard work! WormTT(talk) 10:43, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, that does it. Great work! :) Yash! 07:38, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
