Year of birth

The article itself gives born 1895 and 1896 for his birth. One of the sources I consulted [1] does not say when he was born at all.John Pack Lambert (talk) 20:59, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If the November birthday is correct, then it is likely 1895 (as several sources agree he was 17 in September 1913 or 14 in September 1910, including the census data here that says he was 14 in April 1910) but how do we know he was born in November? This edit changed the year to 1895, claiming it is on the gravestone. (Findagrave doesn't know where the gravestone is). —Kusma (talk) 21:30, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
