Requested move
[edit]I think it makes sense for this to be moved simply to Embryo (band), since that currently redirects to the disambig page, but this is the only band called Embryo with its own page. Chubbles 23:31, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
- Support - At this point, seeing as there is only one article on Wikipedia about a band named "Embryo," then this move makes perfect sense. Also of course per Wikipedia:Naming conventions#Album and song titles and band names. --Eye of the Mind 23:20, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Page moved, per request. Cheers. -GTBacchus(talk) 21:39, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Correct Spelling of Edgar Hofmann/Hoffmann
[edit]The article currently has Edgar Hofmann's name spelt two different ways (with 1 or 2 "f"s). The article History section has "Hoffmann". The infobox has "Hofmann".
- The German Steig Aus LP gatefold artwork has "Hoffmann". The media label for the "clouds" section of the song "call" has "edgar hofmann" (which I verified with an image in an eBay listing). The 1998 German CD has both ("Hofman" in the booklet text and "Hoffmann" in the personnel list on the CD back cover).
- The Father Son and Holy Ghosts LP has "Hofmann" everywhere.
- The archive on the band's official site has "Hofmann" in two places.
- The German article for the band has "Hofmann".
"Hofmann" is dominant. Without further details, this looks like the better choice. I will update the article.
