Dead Links
[edit]I _don't_ know wikipedia's policy well enough what to do, but numerous references are now dead, including specifically #10, the ITU report. Rallias Ubernerd 23:36, 12 August 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rallias (talk • contribs)

I have just modified one external link on Email spam legislation by country. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:

Canada and EU
[edit]Why does Canada have three different sections in the table? And also the EU is not a country so it should be in a separate section or removed — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lordsunkel (talk • contribs) 18:30, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
Bulgaria
[edit]I do not think that it is true to say that spam is legal in Bulgaria. From the Electronic Commerce Act, 2003 (as amended):
(4) Sending unwanted commercial communications to consumers without their preliminary consent shall be forbidden. [1]
It's an awful translation (I don't speak bulgarian, but the english is just dreadful). But Bulgaria is part of the EU, and EU directives apply; member states are required to implement anti-spam legislation compliant with the directive. MrDemeanour (talk) 14:33, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
- agree. I've moved the row into the main table and deleted the unsourced info ... richi (hello) 15:58, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
