It seems highly unlikely that either of her parents were nobility. No such titles exist that I have been able to locate in any reliable source.
It seems highly unlikely that her father fled from the violence of the French Revolution (1789-1799). The most violent period of the war was before 1794. Thus, if her father was a Baron by that time, as is asserted, he would have certainly been quite old at her birth in 1847.
It seems highly unlikely that her father would have exported beef from a small Caribbean island to major beef producing countries in South America.
