Notability
[edit]Before removing the {{notability}} template again, please expand the article with verifiable evidence that the band meets at least one of the notability criteria at WP:BAND. Thanks, Hqb (talk) 15:12, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia:What "Ignore all rules" means
Wikipedia:The rules are principles
"Don't follow written instructions mindlessly, but rather, consider how the encyclopedia is improved or damaged by each edit."
This addition to Wikipedia has without doubt improved it. Since its creation fans have found this page, edited it and no doubt found it helpful, which at the end of the day, is what Wikipedia is for.
I have provided sufficient references to show the band have made a Publishing Deal with Sony BMG Australia, which is the predominant record label in Australia. You should clearly see now the band are not a group of angsty teenagers fresh out of high school.
The band are in fact working on their next EP or album and will soon meet the criteria easily. To delete the page and bring it back perhaps a year later would be pointless. All you have achieved is depriving those who which to learn about the band Ellington.
"If a rule prevents you from improving or maintaining Wikipedia, ignore it."

- This is a completely wrong response. The article is full of self-published sources, half the info is Original Research and the band is very debatable when it comes to the notability guidelines on music. You can't ignore all rules just because you think differently from all of these policies and guidelines. There needs to be a clause, a justified reasoning. Your opinion does not make a band notable. You're lucky they're so little known that no one has come along and chucked a deletion on it yet. k.i.a.c (talktome - contribs) 05:25, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Short Stack
[edit]Do you think that the page should mention that they are the support act for Short Stack's Sway Sway Baby tour? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluebubble17 (talk • contribs) 04:03, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
