[edit]Could anyone (someone that knows her peronally maybe) add additional information? Age/Education/Influences
I read somewhere that she considers her music to be Techno. Should this be included in the article?

"Techno" is in the genre description. The term Techno is often problematic because it is used variably in different places. In Berlin, Ellen Allien is indisputably Techno, capital T. In other places that might be disputed. I don't think it's worth a mention in the article.
Ellen is also a fashion designer and sells her own clothing line through her label's website. Her birthday is approximately September 15, 1969. I came up with that date based on 1) the birthday party for her at Berghain (a Berlin nightclub) on 15 September 2007 and 2) the German Wikipedia page says she was born in 1969.
That's about all I have to contribute. My question is, when did she do that remix of Thom Yorke's 'The Eraser'? 24.7.162.242 (talk) 09:36, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
