[edit]This article contains very egregious factual errors. It conflates two Elizabeth Hamiltons -- the one who married Alexander Hamilton (from New York), and the novelist/essayist (from Scotland). The date of birth and death, and the reference to Alexander Hamilton, relate to Mrs. Hamilton of New York, while the residue (including the image) relates to the other Elizabeth Hamilton. Please correct this mistake.
I am not clear whether the above unsigned paragraph is still true or the corrections have been made.Spathaky (talk) 23:16, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, I have now read this talk page's history and it seems clear that the errors it mentions have been corrected. That might have been mentioned here on the talk page so that doubt in readers' minds is avoided.Spathaky (talk) 23:22, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
