In mentioning Missouri as a Cinderella team, perhaps we should mention what seed it was? It's great they knocked off high seeds, but what seed were they actually? I'm afriad I don't know that answer, but someone who does should add it to the article. Jarfingle 08:58, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
"The lowest seeded team ever to reach this round in the modern 64 team tournament era was #12 Missouri in 2002." Does this mean #12 out of 64? That's not a very low seeding to reach the quarter-finals. I presume it means #12 out of 16 in their quarter of the draw, which would be approximately #48 out of 64. Are there no national rankings, like in American football? This needs explaining since many people [e.g. me] will be reading the article because they don't even know what "Elite Eight" means, and hence the finer intricacies of U.S. College basketball will certainly be beyond them. jnestorius(talk) 16:44, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Page Deletion Request
[edit]I think that this article should be deleted because this is the only round of the NCAA Division I Basketball Tournament that has a page dedicated to it. Also, this article is poorly written; the main issue with this article is an inadequate amount of citations. JumperZ69666420 (talk) 04:17, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
