Plagiarism ?

[edit]

At least one paragraph is a direct word-for-word quote -- without quote marks -- from another source; but, at least cites the source.

Would that be considered plagiarism or copyright infringement or ?

Just curious. 2600:8800:784:8F00:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 06:16, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't she financially ruined by the Lloyds of London issues of the late 1980s? Or is my memory playing tricks on me?Paulturtle (talk) 14:04, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Their Look/ Design…

[edit]

The article says: “The first Wombles book appeared in 1968, illustrated by Margaret Gordon, whose work on all the early Wombles books defined their distinctive appearance” - yet this is at odds with what has happened, and as described in the article on the Wombles. The original Womble illustrations show them as portly teddy-bears, with short fur, small upright rounded ears, blunt-nosed, teddy-like faces, and completely different to the far better-known, shaggy furred, floppy eared, pointed-nosed creatures of the TV series, which redefined their look there after. As written, it could make the average reader believe that the origial illustrator drew them as the they appeared on TV. Jock123 (talk) 16:27, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
