I agree, and came here to say the same thing. I looked into the revision history, and it's clear that this article was appropriately short and unbiased until January 2015. Then a single user, Meenween, began adding massive amounts of text, all of which was fulsome in praising and defending Lake's reputation against some modest criticisms of him that another user had added. Meenween rewrote these in such a way to 'prove' that they were mistaken. The entire article ought to be pared way back and the fluffing of Lake eliminated.
