Sources

What sources are in question, in particular? The products are or were all publically advertised, for instance. Just google for it or check Elgato's web page, if in question. Adding links to Elgato's website for each of the sections in this article looks a bit like overkill to me.

I can understand that sources are demanded when it comes to non-public, historical, information. But this??

I am close to the company and can not find any wrong facts listed here.

Hi Tempel,
In the lead paragraph, things that need references are: words such as "acclaimed", details of company founding, link with Toast software. Elsewhere references might be needed for stuff not directly on the company website.
Notability has not been asserted in the article - There needs to be secondary sources about the company itself, not about individual products it makes. Without notability, the article is a candidate for deletion. See WP:CORP for notability info.
The article is also in need of a cleanup - It is currently just a list of products - The article should be about the company, not just the products, if the products are notable then they should have articles. Look at the Intel Corporation article for an example of this.

Seems to me notability should be trivial to establish. Google news turns up two hits in the last 24 hours, and about 20 in the last 30 days: http://news.google.com/news?&q=elgato 64.81.57.203 16:49, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Really? I got a LOT of hits on Google [1|http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=elgato&btnG=Google+Search] [2|http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=eyetv&btnG=Search] [3|http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&q=eyetv&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wn] [4|http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&um=1&tab=wn&q=elgato&btnG=Search+News] 71.154.13.89 (talk) 17:59, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Notability?

I'm just curious as to why Elgato is not notable as they make one of the most popular (if not the most popular) PVR and TV tuner for the Mac, EyeTV? 70.253.139.67 (talk) 00:05, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

I agree, it is certainly a notable piece of software. Can a user please remove the notability tag? Thanks. 71.154.13.89 (talk) 17:56, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
