The selected research section
[edit]The selected reading section was trimmed down by User:EFLeisch (see here) with the argument in the edit summary: "The selected publications had to be updated because they did not reflect the actual research anymore." Now I restored the section and added a CIO tag, because:
- this argument confirms the impression, that User:EFLeisch is considering it to be his own webpage, see WP:OWN, which should reflect "the actual research" or current research interests.
- the argument itself doesn't add up if you look at the netto result, see here.
I argued before at User talk:EFLeisch that this section is just standard. Wikipedia articles are build on reliable sources, see WP:RS, and listing the most cited sources in the selected publication section is one way of executing this policy. -- Mdd (talk) 10:27, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
