I apologize for my last edit to this page. The link wasn't properly coded, and in trying to fix it, I linked to the disambiguation page for "Company" -- I have no idea how to link specifically to Company, the Sondheim musical. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.172.248.132 (talkcontribs)

It's fixed now ...

By copying a reference that worked correctly from elsewhere in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.172.248.132 (talkcontribs)

Although Zip is from Pal Joey, it was also interpolated into a mid-50's (1954?) revival of On You Toes, which is where Stritch attracted notice with her rendition. There is an out of print OCR of that production.

The On Your Toes interpolation was not Zip but You Took Advantage Of Me. It's on the cast album you mention. I added it while amplifying Stritch's stage credits. Fred Lane 05:12, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm so embarrassed. You are quite correct of course (about Zip). I must have been in some alternative musical show universe when I wrote that. -Steve

birthdate

it's well documented that birthdate is 1925, not 1926. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.149.100.10 (talk) 15:28, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

George & Mildred?

Were her parents really called that, or is someone having a laugh? DavidFarmbrough (talk) 00:29, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

YES THAT WAS THEIR REAL NAMES. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.213.228.66 (talk) 03:19, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Emmy Award acceptance speech

This unreferenced trivia hardly seems worthy of an encyclopedia entry. LiteraryMaven (talkcontrib) 16:11, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Separate article needed for Elaine Stritch at Liberty

Right now that play is mentioned in the lead and is wikilinked, but the link leads back to a section of the same article. Isn't that discouraged? Does the play merit an article of its own? Softlavender (talk) 16:50, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

James Spader at the Emmys

Yes, at an exceptence speach at the emmys, Spader said "Where's Elaine Stritch when you need her?". Just wondering what that's refering to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.174.135.177 (talk) 09:36, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Middle name

Is Stritch's middle name "Bawson" or not? Just curious. Quis separabit? 17:36, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

"Wagon Train" credit for Elaine Stritch

Elaine Stritch's television credits should include her appearance in a guest role in the March 9, 1960 episode of "Wagon Train" called "The Tracy Sadler Story." 198.228.200.154 (talk) 22:09, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Got a source for that? HiLo48 (talk) 09:10, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
