Why would you want to delete this? Equi is an established American poet, whose work has been presented in numerous anthologies, incl. The Norton Anthology of Postmodern American Poetry, Uplate: American Poetry Since 1970, and The Art of Practice. Lesser poets than her have pages here.

Sure, she's got plenty of notability--and you've now put that into the article. You, as the page creator, have to make an immediate assertion of notability. Dozens if not hundreds of unsuitable pages are posted every hour. Darkspots 03:08, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
