Her real name is actually Vera Zozuļa with that signature "Ļ" in the Latvian alphabet, so Zozuļa is a real Latvian Name. You can not consider somebody who respresented Soviet Union as Russian saying that "Russia is the successor state of the Soviet Union". "Russian" in this case does not refer to the ethnicity, but to the citizenship. So Zozulya was both a Soviet (hence Russian) and Latvian luger.--User:Tomcat7 (talk) 14:51, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
