Compare nutrition to eggs

[edit]

The article needs a table comparing at least 5 items (cholesterol, fat, protein, carbohydrate, water) of whites, yolks, whole eggs, and each version of eggbeaters and any competitors for which info can be found. Each number will need a footnote indicating its source. Internal links to Wikipedia articles on cholesterol, eggs, etc, would also help. Numbersinstitute (talk) 02:14, 7 May 2010 (UTC) .[reply]

Rewrite and cleanup

[edit]

I rewrote most of the article, and removed the advert tag. Here is a summary of what and why:

  • General. There were lots of awkward phrasings. Some looked like they were from historical anomalies, such as the addition of a paragraph about the new Yolk product, then its discontinuance with a few inadequate edits.
  • Factual - just rephrased and added vitamins and spices to make it more clear what it was
  • Summarized Varieties - just not encyclopedic or notable to have a detailed listing of each variety. That's what really made it sound like Corporate spam
  • Summarized Varieties - Ditto not encyclopedic or notable.TjoeC (talk) 18:04, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Singular or plural

[edit]

I was perplexed by the singular v. plural, but I just left it singular, although the company uses plural. It does make for some funny sounding grammar.TjoeC (talk) 18:04, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page has been tagged as a "possible ad".

I came to Wikipedia specifically to look up this product, and to find out if it is made of egg whites.

I found the info I was looking for, and found no "hype", marketing lingo, or untoward comparisons to its competitors.

I am not associated with the product, its manufacturer, or the sale of it in any way.

I recommend DO NOT DELETE. No need to even modify or clean up; the page is fine as is. (Provided it is accurate.)
