- "owever, Floyd was approximately three times larger than Andrew,[4] the strongest of those six hurricanes.[3]" this sentence is misleading since it leaves the door wide open for one to imply size and strength are correlated. YE Pacific Hurricane 14:38, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 03:26, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- "Several computer forecast models as late as September 13 predicted either a landfall in Florida or a glancing blow.[6]" could some elaboration be provided here given this is a sub-article, how incorrect they were, and how common model watching is in the leadup to a major USA threat on twitter these days? - "In preparation for a potentially catastrophic landfall, Florida governor Jeb Bush declared a state of emergency on September 13.[7] " this sentence i worfed find but has seriously reduced my energy :P YE Pacific Hurricane 14:38, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- What?--12george1 (talk) 03:26, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- Any other major sporting events jeopardized? YE Pacific Hurricane 14:38, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- I couldn't find anything else really. NBA and NHL were in the off season. The Florida Marlins were out of town. The three NFL teams happened to be scheduled in such a way that cancellations wouldn't have been necessary (except if there was major damage). College games usually take place on Saturday. The storm made its closest approach on the 14th and 15th, which fell on a Tuesday and a Wednesday. And with not too much damage, the major sporting events were apparently easily able to continue.--12george1 (talk) 03:26, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- "Additionally around" comma after "additionally". YE Pacific Hurricane 14:38, 13 May 2019 (UTC)

- "Therefore, Governor Jeb Bush proposed that $18 million to be allocated in the 2000 state budget to create new shelters and improve those already existing, with the money coming from federal, state, and local sources." avoid overlinking so I have the energy to finish the GAN :P YE Pacific Hurricane 14:38, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
