Theoretically we should have references for all the material added to the article. I was able to find enough online to convince me that this material was genuine, but someone could also have decided to just delete it all. I believe there is a mention of Mr. Flowers' service in the Air Force in an issue of West Virginia Lawyer; if anyone has access to those, they could find the reference and put it in. Looks like it is in issue 12, April-June 2012, but I can't access it online. I'm just going to take the place of birth on faith since this looks like, ahem, an edit by a close family member.
