The sugden principle or sugden tradition, is a policy by which students are in charge with much of running of the college.
While administration handles the enrollments and legals, the student general committee (Executive) deals with near all student matters: "organizing functions, purchasing assets, and for minor incidents disciplining students."
There is a page dedicated to this in the Queens College handbook, but I don't have my copy with me right now. gummAY 00:05, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
