Undid revision 717527635

[edit]

I Undid revision 717527635 because WP:NOTBROKEN WP:DABREDIR Linking to a redirect can also be helpful when both: the redirect target article contains the disambiguated term; and the redirect could serve as an alternative name for the target article, meaning an alternative term that is already in the article's lead section. I think it's better to link to the redirect Lord Robert Edward Henry Somerset rather than the target Lord Edward Somerset because the former is less ambiguous. I think that's right, and I'm trying to be helpful so please correct me if I'm wrong! Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:34, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Shhhnotsoloud: No big deal. He was commonly known as Lord Edward Somerset, and that's the name used in contemporary sources so my logic was that people are more likely to recognise him from the shorter version. It's also his article title and is more concise.  Philg88 talk 09:33, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
