Comment on the Twelve Caesars:

Henry was the father! See introduction from Edward leigh to his father Henry!! 1670 edition)

This would be of interest if verified. (The son was Henry, certainly, a graduate of Magdalen College.) Charles Matthews (talk) 20:16, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Both his father and his son were named "Henry", according to the DNB article. The expansion of this book were by his son. -Arch dude (talk) 04:36, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Westminster Assembly

[edit]

This article states: "His theological attainments procured him a seat at the Westminster Assembly". This is taken directly from DNB. However, none of the sources I know - including those for the Wikipedia articles on the Assembly, list him. As he retired from public life in 1648, he is unlikely to have served to its conclusion in 1653. Does anyone have a source to support the DNB claim? Or any thoughts on the matter? .John M Brear (talk) 15:46, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
