Intermediate school?
The article and the grade chart suggests that there is a thing called "intermediate school" which can go from as early as 3rd grade to 6th grade. There's no sources corroborating that; a QGS shows that "intermediate school" is an interchangeable term with either middle school or junior high (perhaps a consensus term for systems which change over time from middle school format to junior high format). Any sources for the article's assertion about "intermediate school"? - Keith D. Tyler ¶ 19:28, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
- @KeithTyler: How "intermediate school" is defined depends on the individual school district. In Alief Independent School District intermediate schools are grades 5-6 (effectively an upper elementary school). In Clear Creek Independent School District they are grades 6-8 (in other words, middle school). Many school districts do not have schools called "intermediate schools". Length of article
An easy fix would be reducing the higher education section to a summary paragraph, and add a main article wikilink.Vgy7ujm (talk) 17:33, 13 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Vgy7ujm: Also I found an article from National Center for Education Statistics about private education in the United States. https://nces.ed.gov/pubs97/97983.pdf Making an article just on that could be a solution. WhisperToMe (talk) 04:57, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
- That would not make much difference to the length of this article. On the other hand, moving the higher education section to https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Higher_education_in_the_United_States would be much more effective.Vgy7ujm (talk) 13:05, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
