The English section
The English section of this page is written in a biased way. "Ethiopians should," "these need to become," "This...is not enough," etc. Maybe Ethiopia's educational system would benefit from an overhaul, but a Wikipedia page isn't the place for opinions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.51.221.79 (talk) 13:01, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
The section The root cause of lower quality of education is not a specific case or policy. statements such as "Students who oppose the divide-and-rule policy of the regime are killed" without specific sources are not Wikipedia standard. The whole section seems a copy paste from some newsroom or political discussion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.59.99.219 (talk) 08:20, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
Language issues
"Children whose mother tongue is not Amharic are still disadvantaged since they also have to learn Amharic." Why should learning another language be a disadvantage? (Esp. learning the lingua franca of their country). Is learning English a disadvantage, too? -- MacCambridge (talk) 19:24, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
